SANTA ROSA, Calif. — The Passdoor, the fine jewelry and art gallery that has been a beloved destination for Sonoma County design lovers and art enthusiasts since its founding in 2014, announces its relocation and grand opening at 1160 4th Street, Santa Rosa, CA, in the Historic McDonald District, on Wednesday, October 1, 2026. The move brings The Passdoor’s distinctive vision — and its devoted community — to an exciting new address in Santa Rosa, along with a new offering that reflects proprietress Jennifer Edwards’ ever-evolving eye: a thoughtfully curated selection of vintage items for the home.

Founded by Jennifer Edwards in 2014, The Passdoor was built on a singular passion: to create a space where iconic modern décor and contemporary California artworks could live side by side in a way that feels both inspiring and livable. Edwards, a lifelong devotee of the arts and design who grew up in her family’s furniture business, was deeply influenced by the unpretentious simplicity and understated elegance of Scandinavian design. The result is a gallery and shop unlike any other — an airy, beautifully curated environment offering functional products and artworks for your home, your workspace, your lifestyle, and life’s most special occasions.

Over more than a decade in Sonoma County, The Passdoor earned a fiercely loyal following for its impeccable eye and warm, knowledgeable service.
